 Proper Food In Diabetes


If you want to avoid diabetes, here is a list of what you can eat.


1. Carbohydrates: Carbohydrates such as rice, bread and spaghetti give us energy. But it raises our blood sugar. There are carbohydrates that are better for the diabetic. These are brown rice, wheat bread and spaghetti. Just limit eating fried rice or fried rice, white bread and French fries.


2. Protein and meat: Choose less fatty meats. Remove visible fat from pork and beef before cooking. Prefer vegetable proteins such as tofu, tofu and beans. Chicken and turkey are healthier than pork and beef.


3. Vegetables and fruits: Most vegetables and fruits are high in fiber, vitamins and minerals. Each day, we ate 2 cups of vegetables and 2 cups of fruit. Men and tall people can eat more, and women and children eat less. For those with diabetes, eat less rice and replace it with more vegetables. When preparing a salad, be careful to use mayonnaise and Thousand Island sauce which is fattening. The sauce is just vinegar.


Diabetes can have serious complications. Most diabetics lack the knowledge of what foods to eat and what to avoid.
