Mole: Is It Dangerous?

What does a typical mole look like?
We all have a mole, but a sudden presence or change in appearance may be a sign of a cancer.

To determine if a mole may be dangerous or not, doctors use the following guide.

1. The place and boundaries of the place.

2. The mole should be circular and even. If it is irregular and pointed, it can be a sign of skin cancer.

3. The color of the mole should be equal, as in all black or all brown. If the mole has mixed colors, it should be checked for cancer.

4. The diameter or size of the mole should be less than the diameter of a pencil eraser, which is 6 millimeters.

5. And if the mole expands in size, it is best to see a dermatologist.

Do not worry. These are just warnings and uncertain. But we must also be careful because skin cancer like melanoma spreads quickly.
