Toothbrush 3 times a day
One of the common problems of Filipinos is tooth decay. Go to any barangay or school, most children have broken or rotten teeth. When this happens, the first thing a parent will think about is having a tooth extracted. How is the child's future?
The real culprits are the parents. They do not teach their child to brush. It has been proven that if you always have bad teeth, your life will be reduced by 3 years.
How to brush properly?
The proper use of a toothbrush is to tilt the tooth at an angle of 45 degrees. Just brush gently. Use an upward brushing action, from between the gums and teeth.
All you have to do is go up and down. Each tooth should be brushed 10 times per brush. This way, dirt that clogs the teeth can be removed.
Put the teeth below first, before the top. Brush left, middle and right. Also reach to the back of the teeth. Brush the tongue as well. Do not hurry. Brush for about 3 minutes.
Extra dental advice
1. If you can't brush after eating, just rinse well in the bathroom.
2. Also use dental floss (the thread that is inserted between the teeth) daily. Floss at least once a day.
3. Buy Tongue Cleaner. It has been proven to reduce bad breath and bacteria in the mouth.
4. Do not eat hard objects and your teeth may break. Slowly bite pork, beef, watermelon seeds and more.
5. Avoid eating sugary foods such as candy and chocolates. It damages the teeth. Rinse or drink water after eating it.
6. Do not let the baby sleep with a bottle of milk in the mouth. Give him water to drink so he won't break his teeth.
7. Do not drink colorful beverages such as soft drinks, iced tea and hot teas. Also avoid smoking. They make our teeth yellow.
8. Consult your dentist every six months.
So I beg the parents there. Let's teach our child to brush every day. Preventing infections, preventing bad breath and preventing costs as well. Pity them when they grow up. Maybe no one will like them anymore.
