Benefits of eating fish
Did you know that eating fish has many benefits? The fish is low in calories and cholesterol. Fish is rich in protein, vitamins and minerals compared to pork and beef. In addition, fish is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, especially sardines, mackerel, tilapia and salmon.
Eating fish can help prevent and cure many diseases such as:
1. Asthma - Children who love fish are less likely to have asthma.
2. For the brain and eyes - Fish is rich in omega-3 fatty acids that are good for our brain and retina.
3. Cancer - Omega-3 fatty acids help prevent many cancers such as breast, ovarian, prostate, oral and throat cancers.
4. Heart disease - According to the American Heart Association, eating fish 3 times a week reduces heart disease, nerve blockage, abnormal heartbeat and high cholesterol. Fish is really for the heart.
5. Dementia - To prevent Alzheimer’s disease, eat fish. If children want to be smart, eat fish too.
6. Depression - Fish eaters are less depressed, also due to the very nutritious omega-3 fatty acids.
