How to lessen the pain in the breasts
Pain in both breasts is common in women, especially 1 week before menstruation. This change is a symptom of pre-menstrual syndrome.
But breast pain can also be caused by excessive exercise or a growing cyst or lump.
If there is redness of the breast accompanied by fever, it may be a sign of a breast infection or mastitis. The infection is usually in only 1 part of the breast. Mastitis usually affects women or mothers who are breastfeeding.
To reduce breast pain:
1. Use a hot or cold compress on your breast.
2. Wear a bra that is the right size for support, preferably with a good bra type.
3. Relax. Relaxation can help to control excessive anxiety along with excessive breast pain.
4. Reduce or avoid drinking coffee - According to the Mayo clinic, although it has not been proven that drinking it affects chest pain and other pre-menstrual symptoms, it is better to reduce it or stop. Because your drinking may have a negative effect.
5. Reduce the amount of fat and fats in your diet. It is possible that this may affect the presence of a breast tumor.
It is rarely a sign of breast cancer if only breast pain is felt. But if you have unexplained breast pain and it lasts for more than 1 week, you may be worried that it may be a sign of breast cancer or risk to your life.
Consult a doctor immediately if there is a lump in the breast and there is a change in the shape of the breast.
