 Fatty Liver: Take Care of Your Liver


Fatty liver is a condition in which fat envelops the liver. If you have a fatty liver, your blood cholesterol, blood sugar and uric acid are usually high. You are probably also overweight and have a big belly.


Initially the fatty liver was asymptomatic. Someone else is hurting the right side of the abdomen. But when it comes to liver cirrhosis it is severe and there will be jaundice, weight loss, enlargement of the abdomen and numbness of the feet.


The patient will be diagnosed with a fatty liver through Ultrasound of the Liver or Ultrasound of the Whole Abdomen. Fatty liver sometimes worsens and leads to inflammation of the liver and liver cirrhosis.


To prevent fatty liver, follow these tips:

1. Stop drinking alcohol. Don't even try a drop of wine, beer or hard drinks. Quit smoking as well.


2. Lose weight if you are overweight. When you lose weight, you can also reduce the fat in your liver.


3. Avoid eating oily and sugary foods. Limit eating cake, butter, ice cream and pork and beef. Avoid or reduce the consumption of sugary drinks such as soft drinks and iced tea.


4. Eat healthy foods such as green vegetables and fish. You can eat fruit but do not overdo it because it is also sweet.


5. Move around and exercise. When your body fat is reduced, liver fat will also be reduced.


6. If you have diabetes, treat it with the help of your doctor.


7. If your blood cholesterol is high, lower it through diet and medication.


8. Eat yogurt. According to one study, good yogurt bacteria help treat fatty liver. It is not yet certain but you can try.


9. Do not take any pills, supplements or vitamins lightly. Do not believe the rumors. Ask your doctor first if it can harm the liver.
