1. Check if the blood test is correct.

Sometimes laboratories make mistakes in blood tests. Are you sure you did not eat for 10 hours before bleeding? Do not be afraid first. First try to diet and exercise. After 2 months, we will repeat the blood test.

Cholesterol treatment is expensive and may have side effects. Because of this, try to adjust your lifestyle before we treat.

If you are overweight, we need to lose weight. When you lose 5 pounds, your cholesterol will also go down.

In the diet, try frequent meals of oatmeal, beans (mongoose) and vegetables. It can greatly reduce your cholesterol. If you used to love pork fat, lard and fried foods, try fish fat. Also chop the pork fat before cooking it.

Avoid eating cakes, pastries, croissants, butter, cookies and other greasy items. If you used to like fried rice and fried rice, just choose fried.

3. Exercise.

Exercise 3 to 5 times a week. Do this for 30 minutes to an hour. Exercise can help a lot in lowering your cholesterol.

4. Try natural remedies.

Eating garlic can lower blood cholesterol by 9 to 12%. Taking omega-3 fish oil supplements also lowers triglyceride levels, a type of blood fat.

5. Cholesterol drugs.

If after 2 months of not eating your cholesterol is still high, we can start taking maintenance medication. These are the generic Simvastatin, Atorvastatin or Rosuvastatin. There are already cheap drugs in generics pharmacies.

This is the right way to treat your cholesterol. Try to diet and exercise for 2 months first. If it is not taken naturally, we will only take medicine there.
