 Remedy for Ulcer or Acidity


Gastritis or ulcer is a disease in which the flesh or lining of the stomach is scratched because it is too acidic or because food is always missed.


My advice is:

(1) avoid sour and spicy foods,

(2) eat small but often a day,

(3) eat bananas and bread, and

(4) sip a little water every 20 minutes to wash the stomach acid.


Here are some additional tips on ulcers:

1. Avoid alcohol and cigarettes.

Alcohol irritates the stomach especially if the stomach is empty. Cigarettes also damage the lungs and stomach.


2. Limit the intake of pain relievers.

Pain medications such as Mefenamic acid should be taken only after meals. And do not do it every day because it is also bad in the long run.


3. Aspirin can also cause ulcers.

Take aspirin after meals. If you still have nausea, stop taking aspirin and see a doctor.


4. Evaluate milk intake.

According to specialists, milk can increase stomach acid. Others have diarrhea in milk. Yogurt is even better.


5. Loosen the belt.

Tight pants and belts can increase abdominal pressure. Because of this, it is difficult for us to eat less.


6. Do not immediately sit or lie down when eating. Walk first to digest.


When should I consult a doctor? When there is blood in the stool or severe abdominal pain. And if we suspect the patient has other diseases such as heart disease, appendicitis and gallbladder disease, go to the doctor.
