What is the cause of burping or belching ?
Burping or belching is the body's way of releasing excess air into the stomach.
We swallow too much air when we eat and drink fast, talk while eating, drink soft drinks or drink with a straw. Some people absorb air every time they are nervous.
Indigestion and heartburn can be treated with diarrhea.
To reduce clutter:
1. Eat and drink slowly. Do not rush to avoid choking. Limit drinking with a straw.
2. Stop drinking carbonated beverages such as soft drinks and beer, as they release carbon dioxide.
3. Avoid chewing gum or absorbing hard candy.
4. Do not smoke.
5. Reducing stress can prevent nervousness. To reduce the habit of swallowing air.
6. Check the size of the denture. If the size is not right it can cause you to swallow air while eating.
7. Avoid lying down immediately after eating. Take a walk first to lower your intake and prevent heartburn.
