Dizzy what reason?

Dizzy what reason?

Everyone experiences dizziness from time to time. The thread is said to be spinning around. The elderly are more prone to dizziness and walking balance problems. They need support and may fall.

Common causes of dizziness:

When we suddenly get out of bed or from a crouched position, we may feel dizzy. According to neurologists, it is not dangerous. This is called postural hypotension.

Blurred vision is also a common cause of dizziness. Consult an optometrist (optical shop) and measure glasses.

When you are hungry, you can also feel dizzy. Bury bread or bananas to keep from starving. Changing weather can also be daunting, especially if you come from a hot spot and enter a cold room. Some people also feel dizzy when riding in a car, plane or ship. This is called motion sickness.

But the most common cause is the inner ear problem. This is called vertigo. It starts with a cold or flu, which can also infect the inside of our ear. It heals for a long time and sometimes takes up to 2-3 weeks. You can take meclizine tablets (dizitab or bonamine).

When should I consult a doctor?

There are causes of dizziness that a doctor should see. The doctor needs to get your blood pressure and pulse up. When blood pressure is high at 140 over 90, it can cause dizziness. When your blood pressure is too low (about 90 over 60 or less), you can also feel dizzy.

If the pulse is irregular, anemic, diabetic or goiter, the doctor should also see. Stroke is a blockage in the brain and in addition to dizziness, there is also numbness of one part of the body or swelling. There are also medications that have side effects of dizziness. Ask your doctor about this.

And if you have lost consciousness, this is another symptom and needs to be checked by a doctor.
